Question 1. I do not know which size I should choose / I am not sure which size I am.
With the MONTE SKI 'dial-fit’ system it is unlikely that the ski helmet will not fit, because the size of the helmet can be adjusted by a few centimetres. It is advisable to first measure the size of your head and then choose the right size. For instructions on how to measure your head correctly see: Choose the right size.
Question 2. Is it obligatory to wear a ski helmet?
In most countries, wearing a ski helmet is not obligatory. There are some countries where ski helmets are mandatory for children. For example, in September 2009 Austria ruled that children under 14 must always wear a ski helmet. In many other countries helmets are only required during ski or snowboard lessons. This is the case for children especially, but sometimes for adults as well. Wearing a ski helmet is always advisable. Read this page for more Ski helmet information.
Question 3. If the ski helmet I receive does not fit properly, what do I have to do?
If the ski helmet does not fit properly, you can return it without any charge and exchange it for a different size. The ski helmet can only be returned with original purchase receipt, packaging and attached cards within 14 days. If you wish to return the MONTE ski helmet altogether, without receiving a different size, MONTE SKI will charge you for the shipping costs and deduct this amount from the amount refunded to you. Question 4. Are MONTE ski helmets suitable for children?
Yes, MONTE ski helmets are suitable for both children and adults, depending on the size of their head. If your child’s head is large enough, a MONTE ski helmet can be worn just as any other ski helmet. The 'dial-fit' system makes it adjustable in size, so children are able to wear the it for several years. Question 6. I live abroad, but would still like to buy a MONTE ski helmet.
It is possible to buy a MONTE ski helmet when you do not live in the Netherlands. The package will be delivered to your home address. For more information see: Payment / Shipping / Returns.
Question 7. I would like to try on the ski helmet first, but I can not find a store where the helmets are sold.
MONTE SKI sells its products primarily online. If the helmet does not fit properly, you can return it without any charge and exchange it for another size. It can only be returned with original purchase receipt, packaging and attached cards within 14 days. To choose the correct size the MONTE SKI team recommends this Size chart. Question 8. My current ski helmet has crashed, but I see no damage from the outside. Can I still wear this ski helmet?
When you have fallen or crashed with a ski helmet, the safety can no longer be guaranteed. Any damage that cannot be seen from the outside can very possibly be present on the inside. When you rent a ski helmet you can never be sure whether it still meets the required safety standards, because you do not know what could have happened to it with previous users. Question 9. Does MONTE give warranty on a ski helmet?
Yes, MONTE SKI gives a limited 1 year factory warranty on all products.
Question 10. I would like to buy a MONTE ski helmet, but I am not able to pay by credit card or internet banking.
